Help for Today Program

Furniture Exchange
Our furniture exchange program takes donations of good used furniture from the community and gives it to people who need it. Families and individuals in poverty, transitioning from homelessness to housing, relocating victims of domestic violence or other crisis situations, and individuals re-entering society from prisons, drug programs and other rehabilitation are examples of those who will receive donated items.  Referrals from governmental agencies, community charities, charities and social service programs will be accepted as evidence of need for those seeking assistance. Other families and individuals that demonstrate need will also be considered. For more information about furniture exchange please call Rev. Mike at 1-800-266-5017 (option 1) or email cafe@riseagainoutreach.org.  All furniture must be inspected for serviceability before being accepted. Please do not drop off items without contacting Rise Again beforehand to arrange for delivery or pickup.
Clothing and Food Mobile Pantry
Communities in need can become isolated from the community at large. Rise Again will soon be bringing assistance in the form of clothing, food and personal care items into struggling neighborhoods in the Capital Area. We have a full size bus that is being fitted with racks and shelving to bring assistance to those who need it. All items are donated from the community and are free. Many people, single parents, refugees and others struggle on the brink of poverty and homelessness and any relief can make a huge difference in their lives.

Donations of clothing, nonperishable foods and personal care items can be dropped off at the New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene, 33 Staniels Road (off of Rte 106) in Loudon.

Bible Giveaway Program
Rise Again Outreach distributes Bibles as gifts to all of our Help for Today clients. The Bible shares the uplifting message of God’s unconditional love for all people and His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ, the Messiah and son of the living God.
